An island filled with beauty, love, and strength. I was a teen when I first saw this island gem and fell in love. I remember feeling amazed at the San Juan airport and walking through the streets of Old San Juan. As time passed, I dreamed of returning. In college, I met a wonderful young woman from Hatillo, Puerto Rico, and we formed a lasting friendship. Her love for her island and family shines in everything she does. Puerto Ricans show pride, joy, and passion in their daily lives. I invite you to see Puerto Rico through my eyes, as I have grown to love its culture and amazing people.
